ANS disponibiliza números do setor relativos a janeiro
A Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar (ANS) atualizou, nesta sexta-feira (16/02), os dados do setor de planos de saúde que são disponibilizados para consulta na Sala de Situação. Os números relativos a janeiro confirmam a tendência de estabilidade que vinha sendo observada ao longo de 2017, com leve crescimento tanto no comparativo mensal como no comparativo dos últimos 12 meses. São 47,4 milhões de beneficiários em planos médico-hospitalares, 119,5 mil a mais que o número registrado em dezembro e cerca de 64 mil a mais em relação a janeiro do ano passado.
Os planos exclusivamente odontológicos também seguem a trajetória de crescimento. Em janeiro o setor registrou 23,06 milhões de beneficiários, aumento de cerca de 49,1 mil usuários na comparação com o mês anterior e de 1,4 milhão em relação a janeiro de 2017.
Em 16 Unidades Federativas houve aumento de beneficiários em planos de assistência médica no último ano. São eles: Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Paraíba, Paraná, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, Santa Catarina, Sergipe e Tocantins. Paraná foi o estado com o maior crescimento em números absolutos: 50.645 usuários. Em segundo lugar ficou Minas Gerais, com crescimento de 49.483 usuários, e em terceiro, Ceará com 43.115 beneficiários a mais.
É importante lembrar que os dados podem sofrer modificações retroativas em função das revisões que são efetuadas pelas operadoras de planos de saúde mensalmente.
