Novo Rol de cobertura dos planos de saúde entra em vigor
Entrou em vigor hoje (2/1/2018) a nova cobertura mínima obrigatória dos planos de saúde estabelecida pela Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar (ANS). A Resolução Normativa com a atualização do Rol de Procedimentos e Eventos em Saúdeestabelece a inclusão de 18 novos procedimentos – entre exames, terapias e cirurgias que atendem diferentes especialidades – e a ampliação de cobertura para outros sete procedimentos, incluindo medicamentos orais contra o câncer. Pela primeira vez, foi incorporado um medicamento para tratamento da esclerose múltipla.
O Rol é obrigatório para todos os planos de saúde contratados a partir da entrada em vigor da Lei nº 9.656/98, os chamados planos novos, ou aqueles que foram adaptados à lei. A lista de procedimentos é atualizada a cada dois anos para garantir o acesso ao diagnóstico, tratamento e acompanhamento das doenças através de técnicas que possibilitem o melhor resultado em saúde, sempre obedecendo a critérios científicos comprovados de segurança, eficiência e efetividade.
A atualização do Rol é um avanço importante para os beneficiários de planos de saúde e os critérios de revisão devem estar em constante evolução. Os procedimentos incorporados são aqueles nos quais os ganhos coletivos e os resultados clínicos são mais relevantes para os pacientes. Todavia, a inclusão de tecnologias é sempre precedida de avaliação criteriosa, alinhada com a política nacional de saúde, e contempla, além das evidências científicas, a necessidade social e a disponibilidade de recursos. A decisão pela inclusão também leva em consideração a prevalência de doenças na população. Confira no quadro abaixo um resumo das principais inclusões:
