MAPA ASSISTENCIAL: PUBLICAÇÃO INFORMA NÚMERO DE PROCEDIMENTOS REALIZADOS PELOS PLANOS
A Agência Nacional de Saúde Suplementar (ANS) disponibiliza a 5ª edição do Mapa Assistencial. A publicação traz a quantidade de internações, consultas, terapias e exames realizados pelos planos de saúde de assistência médico-hospitalar e odontológica no país e os custos assistenciais relativos a esses procedimentos. Nesta edição, os indicadores de saúde tradicionalmente já analisados na publicação apresentam uma breve análise temporal, cobrindo os anos de 2014 até 2016. A ideia é fornecer informações que permitam análises comparativas com base em indicadores selecionados sobre: internação hospitalar, consultas médicas, exames de ressonância magnética e de tomografia computadorizada e cirurgias bariátricas por beneficiário e proporção de partos cesáreos.
Em 2016, foram realizados 272,9 milhões de consultas médicas e 141,1 milhões de atendimentos ambulatoriais, números que mostram relativa estabilidade em relação aos anos anteriores (comparativo com 2014 e 2015). Também foram realizados 796,7 milhões de exames complementares – o que representou um aumento de 12% em relação a 2014 – e 69,9 milhões de terapias, procedimentos que registraram um incremento de 28% no período. Entre os exames mais realizados, os destaques foram tomografia computadorizada (aumento de 21%) e ressonância magnética (aumento de 25,2%).
O Mapa Assistencial traz ainda o número de internações. Em 2016, foram 7,8 milhões de procedimentos, um aumento de 6% em relação a 2014. Nesse item, chama a atenção o crescimento de 20% no número de cirurgias bariátricas por mil beneficiários realizadas nos dois últimos anos. Já a proporção de partos cesáreos em relação ao total de partos teve leve queda, passando de 85,6% em 2014 para 84,1% em 2016.
Segundo a diretora de Normas e Habilitação dos Produtos da ANS, Karla Santa Cruz Coelho, “a publicação desse levantamento é de fundamental importância para a saúde suplementar, uma vez que permite uma análise mais aprofundada dos indicadores de desempenho do setor, sendo objeto de estudo para os interessados no assunto e servindo de base para o desenvolvimento das políticas de saúde e de regulação do setor”. De acordo com Karla, os dados revelados sobre o aumento das cirurgias bariátricas são um exemplo da necessidade e importância da implementação de ações para o enfrentamento do excesso de peso e da obesidade entre os beneficiários de planos de saúde e o estímulo à adoção de um modo de vida saudável, com a inclusão de práticas constantes de atividades físicas e alimentação equilibrada.
“A ANS tem incentivado a adoção, pelas operadoras, de programas de Promoção da Saúde e Prevenção de Riscos e Doenças (Promoprev) voltados para diminuir o excesso de peso e obesidade entre os beneficiários. Recentemente, foi criado o grupo multidisciplinar para condução do Projeto de Enfrentamento da Obesidade na Saúde Suplementar, que planeja reunir diretrizes que apontem para a integração entre procedimentos de prevenção e cuidado do excesso de peso e da obesidade, compondo uma diretriz única, adequada ao contexto da saúde suplementar”, explica a diretora.
Os dados contidos no Mapa Assistencial da Saúde Suplementar têm como principal fonte informações fornecidas pelas operadoras de planos de saúde ao Sistema de Informações de Produtos (SIP), por meio do qual as operadoras enviam dados agregados de eventos em saúde.
